Topic/Skill: Speaking
I really enjoyed this session! We started by talking about the music we listened to in the previous TEFL class, going line by line to figure out some meanings. Then we talked about Korean music for a while and she played some good music for me! We eventually got to talking about the difficult, subtle differences in some words. Specifically, we talked about "now" vs "for now" and "look/see/watch/stare". I really enjoyed this because it gave me an opportunity to think about what each means and in what situations we would use them, which is something that usually doesn't require thought for me. That is to say, this session helped expand my external knowledge of both Korean music and English word usage.
