Topic discussed: US-Russia Politics and attitudes toward both.
Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: I believe Patrick and I both have learned that despite our anthropological and linguistic differences, Russians and Americans are a lot alike in their attitudes toward politics, media and life in general. Patrick is a highly intelligent man, who uses proper speech patterns. From the linguistic standpoint, I find that listening to my conversation partner enriches my vocabulary, while from the cultural perspective, it enhances my understanding of American people. I hope to have provided Patrick with valuable input during our cross-cultural interaction.
