Topic/Skill: Attitude to improve language skill
Feedback provided to tutor: The tutor gave me lots of encouragement in learning English. The tutor can speak many languages, so she could give me practical advices on my past hesitance to participate in American society that might have hindered my English learning. This was our first meeting, so it was natural conversation that made us get to know each other. It was very pleasant time.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: My tutor spoke in natural speed of English just like normal American people. I tried not to miss her speaking and it was a good training for me.
Because I found that it was sometimes very difficult to understand the native speakers' English in real life if I only make a conversation with English teacher who is too much careful about the speed to help me understand thoroughly.
