On Wednesday I met with Domingos at Strozier. I looked over his speech once more, and was very surprised to find how much his speech had improved. The diction was much clearer, and the speech flowed very well. I looked over it a few times and made some minor changes. Then, we talked a little bit about law. He is interested in the judicial system, so we talked about current cases going to the Supreme Court. Luckily, the Supreme Court of Florida is located in Tallahassee. I think he would really enjoy watching a case or two when the Court goes into session. We talked about guns in the United States and how it can be a very divisive topic in America. I told him about the NRA, and how they are suing the state of New York. He was very surprised to learn about this. We also talked about the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh. It was very informative, and he told me a lot about the legal system of Brazil!
