Topic/Skill:  Gerunds and Infinitives

She brought some activities from grammar class to go over when to use the gerund and when to use the infinitive. First I went over the explanation of the difference between the gerund and the -ing verbs. I showed some example of this difference and asked her to identify which is which. 
Afterwards, we went over her sentences from class and corrected them together.
Then we went over the infinitive and when to use this. During this whole explanation I would write examples for her to identify whether it should be a gerund or an infinitive. I also asked her to create a sentence herself using each.
