Topic/Skill: Introduction and Needs Assessment
Feedback provided to tutee: We focused on the students needs, focuses, and goals. I helped her specify what she actually wanted to achieve since she wasn't quite sure herself.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: She is from Venezuela. She doesn't find any specific subject too hard and there isn't one subject that she prefers above the other subjects. She just wants to focus on and cover as many skills as she possibly can. Though I did sense that she very specifically wanted help with her grammar activities from classes since she seemed to struggle with those.
