Topic/Skill: Sentence Structure and Word Usage in Writing
Feedback provided to tutor: My tutor is always preparing for tutoring. He seems to try to plan the concrete idea that tutor and tutee can see the improvement in certain issue. I can feel he keeps trying to design the limited tutoring time with full contents and to aim at the visible enhancement. I always appreciate his effort.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: In this tutor session, he asked me to edit certain paragraph that I wrote. He wanted me to come up with the main idea of the paragraph and pick up the supporting idea in order.
I gave me time to think and gave supportive advice to let me try to produce appropriate wording. My writing became very structured and much easier to understand the idea after all process of editing.
I could find the noticeable improvement of my writing during the tutoring, and it was amazing!!
